I wrote this instrumental inspired by the full-on melodic synth themes of Joker, and used chopped up samples of motown acapella vocals as a guide to send to Ruth for a vocal line. Her first draft blew me away, and after a couple of sessions working together on lyrics and how the phrases would fit best, I feel we created something really special here to end the album.
