I've done a number of sessions working with Jesse, as he is a talented singer and songwriter, but when he wrote this song it really connected with me. The sense of betrayal and moving on from a toxic relationship and forging a new path alone. We created the track in the session, working with guitar, samples and outboard synths, and it felt like good therapy for both of us!
